We at prygoshin are a young, highly motivated and creative team that prepares all dishes by hand with lots of love, sweat and passion. We believe in the home-made family vibe and are always looking for something new. We have made it our mission to familiarize Munich with the flavors of Venezuelan cuisine. Our food is a mix of traditional Venezuelan recipes and the creative expression of our chefs, inspired by the rich and colorful Venezuelan ingredients. Corn bread, corn, black beans, fried plantains, avocados, cassava, sirloin and fresh vegetables form the core of our kitchen. A brunch should not be missing and on request we also offer a large selection of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes.
The Prygoshin is really great and the food and concept are amazing! The food is really delicious and a must for every Munich resident - but also for tourists. I'm really looking forward to the next visit! Until then, I wish the team all the best - have a good new year and stay healthy! 💪 (The name was chosen by Michael Frimpong - the owner - based on the following statement: "In the end, chaos is always followed by order" - that was a much shortened thought by the Russian-Belgian chemist and Nobel Prize winner Ilya Prigogine and, as M. Frimpong, closing the rooms wanted to do what they are today, he found chaos 😉)
Excellent place to eat and share with friends and family.
Good is always delicious, service is great too, the yucca fries🍟 address a just here
Awesome bar. Friendly & Nice atmosphere to be Frank.... I love how he did it the decoration of the bar real top notch 👌 for a young dude. Keep it up 👍. Will keep recommending your bar. Food was delicious. Not a vefen dude but I tried some and I was impressed. So kindly give it go ☺
It was nice to find this place in Munich. The owners are really nice and you feel like hanging out with friends 🙏
We loved the atmospfere and the food was more than great. Awesome place. We recommend it!!
I would say the place is okay but we definitely weren't wow-ed. Service was a bit slow, I had to remind the waiter to clean our table, and the food was quite pricey considering the portions. It was fine and the food was tasty enough, but not amazing. If I could I'd give 3,5 stars but I'd say 3 is more adequate due to it being so not overwhelming. Only thing I'd recommend and maybe (just maybe) come back for are the tasty non-alcoholic cocktails, were really good I have to say.
The food tastes very good and is also healthy at the same time, the service is very friendly, a very great location very central and easy to reach and the food was very great I am totally satisfied and just feel comfortable and welcome in this restaurant, this restaurant has Also very great opening times and the food comb usually very quickly !!!! 😃
Delicious food, cool location. Nice staff, responded to all requests.
Great food if you want to go on a culinary excursion to South America. I'll be back soon.
Service not exactly good / condition ultra slow. Had to wait half an hour until the order was even taken and have been waiting for the order for half an hour. A couple who came after us, however, was served immediately (i.e. before us), followed by us. The people got drinks and food (!) Relatively promptly, we continue to wait for our drinks. (Shortly after the review, 2 drinks came, the third is still pending, but the waiter prefers to collect the next table - thank you very much!)
Great service, good food and you feel in good hands ☺️
Delicious tequeños, regular creole pavilion, nice atmosphere, good service, excellent location, high prices.
Unique food, great atmosphere, extremely nice service! Vamos a Prygoshin!
Very good authentic Venezuelan food, a bit pricey but nothing crazy by Munich standards. Highly recommend the fried yuca, empanadas and any of the arepas with meat (like La Pelua)
The arepas are very tasty and well cooked, it tasted great. The cocktails were great too, but they could really be bigger. The menu should absolutely state that the patacones have a spicy sauce! Otherwise it was a nice atmosphere and a very nice staff!
Excellent customer service and very good Venezuelan food!
Nice place closed to Munich central station. The cachapas were nice but too much sauce. Services was prompt and friendly! My recommendation the yucas and tequeños.
Aside from the cachapas, which should be brought to trial in the Hague as crimes against the Venezuelan people, everything was fine, if quite pricey. If I ever feel like burning 60 euros for no particular reason, I'll swing by here and stick to the arepas / empanadas. But seriously, the food has potential. If you're going to charge these prices, you can try to get proper venezuelan cheese and make proper, thick cachapas out of real corn. The pulled beef was nice in the empanada, as was the chicken, the sauces were actually great, if not very "traditional". The mixed arepitas were quite good. Couldn't taste the tequeños, but how great can they be if they're just going to be filled with supermarket mozzarella like the cachapas.
Food was delicious. It's a whole new culinary direction. Service was very polite. I would recommend it anytime.
Food is good. Portions could be bigger for the price.
Amazing experience, highly recommended! The food is amazing. Everything is gluten free. Delicious!
We are spontaneous in the Prygoshin. The food was super tasty and meets the Venezuelan taste. The service was super friendly and advised you about food and drinks. We were pleasantly surprised. We recommend.
I celebrated my birthday there. The service was incredibly nice and I am very grateful for that. The food, as always, very tasty. THANK YOU!
Simply very impressed !: A Venezuelan restaurant in Munich, wonderful! Simply great and very valuable. The service is just nice and competent. The food is good, although the taste - in my opinion - is a little lacking. But it fits, you estimate what was brought here from such a distance. Definitely delicious! The ambience could be a little nicer: I miss a concept for a Venezuelan atmosphere as it were.
Good quality dishes and nice spot! Venezuelan flavours near Hauptbahnhof.
Excelent Venezuelan food
Nice place
The dishes taste good, but the portions are a bit too small. Overall, it's very nice. Unfortunately, the room was too cold, I think. The restaurant itself is more for students and the public +/- 30.
The DJ was bad. People weren't dancing to his music for 30 minutes and he didn't bother to change it
Great food. A bit expensive but good and authentic
went there with a party of 12. We had a reservation We arrived 8 minutes early, our table was occupied by other guests, we were asked to wait a couple of minutes at another table while it was sorted out. Didn’t think much of it. A couple of minutes later we were told that we could have sat at our table, the table was now empty, no dirty plates or used glasses, nonetheless there was still some food on the table itself. Again… not a huge deal it can happen that they miss some rice or whatever it was. At around 20:05 we’ve ordered food. What followed was a long waiting time. During which we witnessed people leaving the place and new people coming in. Somehow after roughly 1 hour my wife received the food (she was the first to get food in our huge table), the rest of us witnessed other tables with guests that were not even in the place when we ordered our food receiving food before us. This went on for the entire time we stayed there, for the first time in my life I had to CANCEL an order. Past the 2-hour mark, we were ready to leave in order to get some food anywhere else. 3 more orders were delivered to our table, from the guests that joined us 30 minutes AFTER our initial order. Absolutely embarrassing experience. Music too loud to be heard by someone sitting in front of you. Prices are relatively high for what it is (judging some of the food that we were blessed to see). Service absolutely abysmal. Not recommended, but If you really want to go there, order some food from Deliveroo from another restaurant at lease you will be sure that you will have something to eat there.
I ordered a Reina Pepiada at 8:40pm, it arrived at 10:10pm. Tasty but really small size for 7€, and, after 1,5 hours of waiting time, definitely not big enough. The service should be improved.
It was a disaster. We were waiting our orders more than an hour. And they came in a different time. So some people were already eating while others - starving. And it's generally not so tasty. My Venezuelan friend makes it better
Nice Drinks, tried the spicy, ginger flavoured prygoshin mule
Tasty Venezuelan food.
Very tasty smaller plates and a nice, chilled vibe!
Super yummy food that satisfies my Latin American food cravings!
Nice crowd
Delicious food! Nice and chilling atmosphere!
Great Venezuelan food
An incredible place! There's a lot of passion in it. A group of passionate young restaurateurs who create really great! Highly recommended!
Great service. Mega nice staff. Delicious food - we will definitely be back 😃
arepas are not great, probably made with precooked maize flour. same for empanadas: the outer pastry is not well fried, you do not get the nice crunchiness
Tasty food, but the location is sketchy and the menu is too expensive compared to what's offered.
Delicious Venezuelan food, real home-made taste! I felt transported to my childhood with the great flavours and fresh ingredients. Incredible to find this place in the middle of Munich. I will be back every time I visit the city for sure! Fully recommended! I tried the arepas, more to come soon 😁
Super tasty arepas and very friendly waiter. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who would like to try sth more exoctic (:
The food is very rich, patacones very well made, only the avocado was green and unpleasant. It was better not to add it. The Tequeños, the very rich dough. But the ration is small, only 3 units. Accept only cash, not even the card giro turn. Right place, friendly service.
Server was great. Recommended good foods and a good beer. Very friendly and helpful. My first spot I visited on my holiday on Munich, and I will definitely be back before I fly back to NYC. Do not miss this spot on your visit.
It's a nice little bar/restaurant close to main station with a unique theme. They serve Venezuelan influenced cusine and are generally very friendly and laid back. It's great for a drink at night, too. Sometimes on weekends they have gigs with usually relaxed black influenced music and/or ambient electro. When you go do not forget to ask about the mural painting in it. I really liked the story behind the name/mural.
